This was made as our family christmas cake. I asked my daughter what she thought we should have and she said 'Mummy we must have a snowman cake!' … so here he is!!
As the children are not fans of fruit cake, I just made a sponge cake for this but could easily adapt to use any cake if desired.
I baked a large rectangle sponge then cut and shaped accordingly. His head and body were covered seperately then I used a kebab stick in his body to secure his head!
He was decorated with fondant then I finished him off with a top hat!
