This was my first 'recommendation cake' order! My friend who had the Belinda Bear cake was so impressed that she mentioned my talents to another friend who contacted me regarding a cake for her daughter's birthday.
Evie is a huge Michael Jackson fan and loves dancing. Her birthday party theme is 'Disco', she loves mirror balls and glitter.
The cake was a chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream. The hat was made up from off cuts and covered with white then black fondant.
| I found a silhouette of Michael Jackson which I used for the central image then built up around this. The discs around the outside represent disco lights and also match the colours on the '6' candle. To finish off I used silver balls to write 'Evie' and edge the cake. |
