Jessie from Toy Story Cake!

After offering to make a birthday cake for Gabby as a birthday gift, her mummy decided she would really like Jessie from Toy Story!   I baked a standard rectangle cake and mixed half as chocolate so when you cut into the cake, there will be brown spots like Jessie's cowhide chaps!!!  The cake was halved, filled and covered in chocolate buttercream then covered in a base layer of white fondant.  I then mixed up the colours required for the floor boards and background then set about making and hand painting Jessie to layer on top.   The hat is hand stitched for effect and the sherriff badge is also fondant covered in edible gold glitter for a little glitz!
